Christmas in July

We have introduced a new embroidery category called Christmas Corner where we have gifts and table linens for sale.

Our Christmas tableware collection features a Celtic knotwork, holly, ivy, hellebores and roses design and includes tablecloth, napkin and coaster. We have added three new Christmas Kitten designs to the Kittens Collection. A variety of free-standing lace Christmas tree hanging ornaments completes the Christmas Corner collection so far.

We will be adding other items throughout the coming months, so please revisit our website.

Alan has been working on images taken in Edinburgh in December. He has created a lovely Christmas night panorama stretched canvas scene by stitching four images together.

We have been working to achieve the Industry Standard “We’re Good to Go” mark by completing a risk assessment and putting the necessary Covid-19 measures in place in line with the government and industry COVID-19 guidelines. This includes limiting visitor numbers in the gallery, having social distancing and one-way floor markings, providing hand sanitiser and having a public surfaces cleaning regime in place, all clearly signed.

Our plan is still to open the gallery to the public in September, but we will continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation, to ensure that it is safe to do so for us and for the public. Failing a September opening, we will be open for the 2021 season. In the meantime we are taking internet sales via the website, phone or email.
