Ukulele/Mandolin Straps now available and Christmas is Coming!

We have been requested to create a ukulele strap. The 30mm wide webbing proved to be too dense for the embroidery stitching to look good, so we changed tactic and embroidered onto faux suede fabric which we then wrapped around the webbing and stitched into position. To complete the strap we used a 30mm Delrin adjusting buckle at one end with a narrow real leather end piece and a 30mm Delrin loop at the other end with a cord loop to pass over the headstock.

We made two using the same design but in very different colour schemes and sold both straight away, so we have made a third one, in another colour scheme, for gallery stock which can be viewed here.

The guitar strap design inspired by Moroccan tiles has proved popular too and we now have another colour scheme available to purchase here.

Creative Orkney are organising a Christmas Fayre at Kirkwall Grammar School on the weekend of 12/13 November. This will be a joint event with Orkney Food and Drink, so plenty of variety – definitely a date for your diary.
