This unique “Orkney” clock is made of a combination of Alan’s photographic skills and Norah’s embroidery skills, and would make a superb, iconic statement piece of wall art.
The photograph was taken from one of the upper levels within St. Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall, Orkney, looking out through the Rose Window to the shrubbery beyond. The image is printed onto production polyester canvas and stretched over a pine frame. The roman numerals are embroidered around the Rose Window in gold metallic thread and the clock hands are painted in a gold colour.
