Description
These northern hemisphere birds come to Orkney to breed from late May through early August and spend the rest of the time far out at sea. Their brightly coloured beaks are for show at this time. Popular breeding sites are the cliffs of the Brough of Birsay and the Castle O’ Burrian, Westray. Iceland is home to about half the global population. They live an average of over 30 years, and whilst they can look comical on land, they are very streamlined in water.

Papers and canvases used are micro-porous PE resin coated and the inks used are HP Vivera or Canon Lucia resin encapsulated pigment inks which gives excellent light fastness, and we use PH neutral mounting tape for all our mounted prints. See more information.

All UK orders up to the value of £95.00 are shipped via Royal Mail 2nd Class service and delivery takes 2 to 5 days. Hermes Courier shipping for all orders over £95.00 takes 3 to 5 days to be delivered.

- Orders up to £50.00 = £4.95 (2.95 shipping + 2.00 packaging and handling)
- £50.00 – £95.00 = £8.05 (5.05 shipping + 3.00 packaging and handling)
- Over £95.00 = £10.09 (6.59 shipping + 3.50 packaging and handling)
