One View Two Scenes

From our house in Birsay we can see the Scottish mainland on a clear day. Here are two very different scenes of that view. The sun reflecting off the snow on the mountains of the mainland makes a beautiful subtle scene, whereas the vivid colours of sunset rays over the Scottish mainland create a very different and distinct scene.
