Music in the Isles

Aries Gallery is proud to be a silver sponsor of this year’s Orkney Folk Festival which is back “live” with a remarkable line-up and even more venues than ever. Running from 26-29 May 2022  some artists are following up on their 2021 virtual gigs by appearing in person this year.

The 2022 Creative Orkney Trail brochures are now in circulation, with new members appearing this year.

We are planning photographic trips for later in the year to the Dolomites and to the Isle of Skye, and of course will be displaying some of the images at the gallery.

Embroidery projects include more free-standing lace bookmarks and a personalised mat for a bride’s cog.
