Description
This large wading bird 70-90 cm tall, with a 120-150 cm wingspan weighs only about 1.3 kg and is smaller and more vibrantly coloured than the grey heron. It breeds in colonies in reed beds or trees close to large lakes or other extensive wetlands. It feeds in shallow water, spearing fish, insects, small mammals, reptiles, frogs and small birds, waiting motionless or slowly stalk its prey.

All UK orders up to the value of £95.00 are shipped via Royal Mail 2nd Class service and delivery takes 2 to 5 days. Hermes Courier shipping for all orders over £95.00 takes 3 to 5 days to be delivered.

- £50.00 – £95.00 = £8.05 (5.05 shipping + 3.00 packaging and handling)
