Description
Along the walk from the Point of Buckquoy, Birsay to Skiba Geo, overlooking the meeting of the Atlantic and the North Sea, is a whalebone sculpture from a right whale washed up in the 1870’s. The post is part of the jawbone, the crossbar of the sculpture is the back of the skull. It is suggested the whalebone was possibly sited as a fishing mark.

All UK orders up to the value of £95.00 are shipped via Royal Mail 2nd Class service and delivery takes 2 to 5 days. Hermes Courier shipping for all orders over £95.00 takes 3 to 5 days to be delivered.

- Orders up to £50.00 = £4.95 (2.95 shipping + 2.00 packaging and handling)
- £50.00 – £95.00 = £8.05 (5.05 shipping + 3.00 packaging and handling)
- Over £95.00 = £10.09 (6.59 shipping + 3.50 packaging and handling)
